Emotions! We all experience different emotions at different times. They play a pivotal role in shaping an individual. Just like adults, children too experience emotions. They get frustrated, excited, curious, lonely, nervous, scared, sad, jealous, frightened, worried, angry, ashamed, etc. However, unlike adults, young kids usually don't have the vocabulary to talk about their feelings. Instead they communicate their feelings by actions, like crying, sulking, shouting, etc. The way these emotions are dealt with plays an important role in developing a child’s personality and key strengths.
